"Memories of Summer Travels" - is a solo exhibition of a prominent Russian artist, a member of the Artist Union of Russia, Natalia Popovich.

Natalia, an original and mature painter from Vladivostok, has been extremely prolific and producing paintings in the most unique style. Professor & Dean of the Far East State Academy of Fine Arts, a constant participant in national and international exhibitions, multiple Laureate and winner of the national & international art competitions.

This exhibition will present some of her most extraordinary paintings that are extremely colorful, bright, and breathe with freshness and optimism. All of her paintings have a conspicuous texture, and one can see the intense power from the artist through the painted surface. She applies paint in open, textured brushstrokes and constructs her works juxtaposing wide color planes and spots as if she is making a mosaic stained glass panel. Her works present the depicted still life in a real, or potential, at least, motion, not as a static image, giving her personages, objects, landscape details special vitality and power achieved exclusively by her unique means of painting.

Natalia Popovich participated in numerous art shows and projects both in Russia and in the several counties in South East Asia, such as, China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.

She has received multiple awards from the Russian Government. Her works are kept in museums, galleries and private collections.

The Vladivostok-Hong Kong project will be the first encounter of Hong Kong viewers with the works of the artist.
