Richard H. Zhou, President, CEO, and Director of MinTech and
general manager of MinTech (Tianjin) Mineral Co., Ltd., has studied
and worked on industrial minerals for more than twenty years. For
two and half years he was employed at a US company, where he
spent a considerable time on developing new applications for
attapulgite and providing technical service to customers. He majored
in industrial minerals at Indiana University.
Richard H. Zhou possesses expertise regarding the attapulgite deposits and has an in-depth understanding of the applications and markets for attapulgite and other industrial minerals. Dr. Zhou's extensive study and research on attapulgite and other industrial minerals and the two and one-half years experience in a US Company's quality assurance lab were invaluable and represent a major advantage for MinTech in terms of its ability to guarantee product quality and uniformity for its customers. Being western-educated with a Chinese background, Dr. Zhou is able to combine knowledge of Western business and concept of quality products with an understanding of Chinese people that is critical to the company's successful operation.
